CLC South

In the Summer of 2023, CLC was approached by a local partner and asked to open a second, smaller location in partnership with DCCCA First Step (3015 W 31st Street). Through thoughtful process, CLC Management and the Board of Directors came to the conclusion that this would be a great partnership to benefit the community as a whole and build our relationships with other partners in the communities.

The location had previously been used as a licensed childcare facility. CLC began the process of relicensing and hiring a Program Director and Teachers for CLC South. CLC South opened in December of 2023.

CLC South is open Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM. The CLC South location is licensed for 24 children, 6 weeks - Preschool. To inquire about enrollment, please call us at (785) 312-8258 or email clc.south.lk@gmail.com.

Program and Classes

CLC South consists of three classes for children 6 weeks - Preschool. We have two classes that are licensed for infants and toddlers and a third class that is for preschoolers. In total, the program can have 24 children enrolled.

Infants (6 weeks - 1 and walking) - $1150

Toddlers (1 and walking - 2) - $975

Twos (2 years olds) - $915

Preschool - Children who are 3 and potty trained will transition to CLC’s main location on North Michigan Street.

  • Lead Infant Teacher

    Grace started working in the CLC South Infant room in August 2024. She has a bachelor’s from KU in Unified Early Childhood Education, which involves teaching young children who are typically developing and who have special needs. She has previous experience nannying and working in childcare programs. She enjoys doing art, walking, and playing with her cat, Pigeon.
