Lead Infant Teacher
Ms. Darian has been employed at CLC since February, 2018. During her time as a Teacher, she has primarily worked with Infants and Toddlers. She is our Lead Infant Room Teacher. She helps create a fun and engaging learning environment to help the infants grow and develop at their own pace. In the Fall of 2024, she will begin work on her Child Development Associates.

Abigail Lowe has been teaching early childhood education for over four years, with a lifelong passion for caring for children that began at age 13 through babysitting, volunteering at camps, and after-school programs. She holds three credentials: Basic Education for ages 0-2, Infant & Toddler Education, and Preschool Education, along with an Associate of Arts degree in Social Work. Abigail is patient, creative, reliable, and flexible, easily adapting to each family's unique needs. She enjoys engaging children with outdoor activities, sensory activities, and educational activities. More than anything, she loves seeing children thrive and would be honored to be part of your child's journey.

Lead Toddler Teacher
Mr. Logan has been employed at CLC since November, 2019. He started at CLC as our cook, but moved into a teaching position in the Spring of 2022. He completed his CDA in Infant - Toddler Development in early 2024!

Madison has been employed at CLC since August of 2024. She has previous experience working with young children and is an exceptional toddler teacher. She began working on her CDA in 2025.

Ms. Abigail started working at CLC in October of 2025. Abby has been teaching in early childhood education for over four years. Co-Lead Little Learner Teacher
Ms. Sakira started working at October in 2025. She’s has worked in childcare for 3 years. During that time, she completed a CDA for infant and toddler, director license, and an associates degree in business. She has a strong passion for working with children and have gained valuable childcare experience over time. She has cared for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. She focuses on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where kids can learn and play freely and where every child feels valued and inspired. With a focus on creativity, learning, and fun, her child care services aim to help each child develop confidence, social skills, and a lifelong love for discovery.

Co-Lead Early Learner 2 Teacher
Ms. Tori is one of our Early Learners Co-Lead teachers. She has worked at CLC since March, 2023. Ms. Tori has her Bachelors degree is Psychology and completed her Masters in Library Science in May, 2025. Her previous experience includes working for the City and Boys and Girls Club and working with residents of Cottonwood.

Ms. Stephanie has been employed at CLC since August, 2021. She has her Associate of Art in Business and has taken education classes. She completed her CDA in Infant and Toddler Development in early 2024 and began working on her Bachelors degree in the Fall of 2024.
Early Preschool & Preschool

Lead Early Preschool Teacher
Ms. Lauren has worked at CLC since February of 2023. Previously, she worked as a paraeducator and Head Start Teacher. In 2018, she received her Early Childhood Unified Degree from Fort Hays State University. Lauren is very patient and demonstrates this outside of CLC by also working a part time job with adults who have special needs.
In addition to working with our PreK students, Lauren has taken over our Teacher Recognition Committee where she plans ways to celebrate teachers birthdays, anniversaries and accomplishments!

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Caitlynn has worked at CLC since January, 2023. She came to us with previous experience working with toddlers and preschoolers. She is very patient and nurturing with the children in our program.

Lead Preschool Teacher
Ms. Katie has worked at CLC since the Fall of 2022. During her time with us, she has primarily worked with our 1 - 2 year olds. She is currently our Lead Early Preschool teacher. She has a son who is currently enrolled in our Early Preschool transition class.

Ryn is a full time leadteacher at CLC She came to us with previous experience as an assistant teacher. She started college at Hawaii Pacific University & Kapi’olani Community College and is finishing at KU (Psychology, Nutrition). She spent 4 years as a nanny in Hawaii and enjoys having fun and meaningful experiences with children. She is honored to be a positive influence in their early years! Ryn was recently blessed with her own child and now gets to experience early childhood from the parent perspective as well.
Pre-K, KPrep 1 & KPrep 2(Kindergarten)

Lead PreK Teacher
Ms. Amy has worked at CLC since July, 2021. During this time, she has worked with all classes at CLC. In May of 2023 she earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She became the Lead PreK teacher in the Fall of 2024.

Lead KPrep 1 Teacher
Ms. Rachel has been employed at CLC since August, 2020. She has over 17 years of teaching experience in licensed childcare facilities. While she has taught infants - 5 year olds, the KPrep class is her niche. She earned her Child Development Associate in the area of Preschool Development in 2015. In addition, she has taken college level Early Childhood courses from Highland Community College. She has a daughter who is in 4rd Grade!

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Ashley has been employed at CLC since April, 2022. She has previous experience working with children in an early education environment. Ashely is a college student at Washburn. She assists in all of our rooms, but primarily works with our 3 - 5 year old children.

Lead KPrep2/ Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Jessica has worked at Children’s Learning Center since August, 2020. She graduated from Emporia State University in 2004 with her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. For the past 14 years, she taught a private Kindergarten class. When we do not have Kindergarten enrollment, she runs our KPrep 2 curriculum. She lives in Topeka, KS with her husband and two sons.

Ms. Caitlynn has worked at CLC since January, 2023. She came to us with previous experience working with toddlers and preschoolers. She is very patient and nurturing with the children in our program. She currently works with both our infants and our 2 year old students!

Lead Float
Ms. Christina has been employed at CLC since April, 2010. She has amazing interactions with children of all ages and can work with any age group. She loves to sing with the children and do art projects!

Cook
Ms. Ruby started working at CLC in the Spring of 2025. While this is her first job cooking, she has experience cooking for her family. She helps us provide healthy, well rounded meals that adhere to the CACFP regulations.

Assistant Teacher
Victoria became connected to CLC when her brother was enrolled. She began working at the school in August of 2025, a few months after she graduated high school. She has primarily worked with our 1 - 3 year olds.

Graciana started working at CLC in October, 2025. She took on a temporary position as the kitchen assistant but will move to the classroom when enrollment increases.
She has previous experience running her own in home and as a social worker for her tribe.

Assistant Part Time Teacher
Ms. Helen started working at CLC in January of 2024. She is currently a student at KU. While she works in all classrooms, she primarily works with our 1 - 3 year olds.

Assistant Part Time Teacher
Ms. Holly has been working at CLC since September 2023. She is a student at KU. Ms. Holly is very artistic and has created a mural in the Toddler class.

Part Time Float
Ms. Katie started volunteering at CLC in the temporary school age program during 2020. When the program ended in March 2021, she was hired as a part time aide. Ms. Katie graduated from Eudora HS in May, 2025. She accepted a scholarship from JCCC where she will be playing softball in the fall.

Therapy Dog
PJ was born October, 2017. She joined CeCe’s family in January, 2018. She immediately started training to work as a Therapy Dog in the preschool programs. She completed her Therapy Dog Training Classes in 2019 right before she had a litter of ten puppies! She is a hypoallergenic Golden Doodle who brings a smile to everyone’s day.
