Infant and Toddlers

  • Lead Infant Teacher

    Grace started working in the CLC South Infant room in August 2024 and transitioned to CLC in March 2026. She has a bachelor’s from KU in Unified Early Childhood Education, which involves teaching young children who are typically developing and who have special needs. She has previous experience nannying and working in childcare programs. She enjoys doing art, walking, and playing with her cat, Pigeon.

  • Lead Toddler Teacher

    Ms. Darian has been employed at CLC since February, 2018. During her time as a teacher, she has primarily worked with Infants and Toddlers. She is our Lead Toddler Room Teacher. She helps create a fun and engaging learning environment to help the children grow and develop at their own pace. She earned her Child Development Associates in the Summer of 2025.

  • Assistant Toddler Teacher

    Ms. Caitlynn has worked at CLC since January, 2023. She came to us with previous experience working with toddlers and preschoolers. She is very patient and nurturing with the children in our program. She currently works with our toddler students!

Little Learners and Early Learners

  • Lead Little Learners Teacher

    Ashley joined our team in February 2024. Prior to working at CLC, Ashley had 4 years of childcare experience. She completed her CDA in March 2025, and has her LEND certification. She is working towards her Associate in Arts.

  • Co-Lead Early Learner 2 Teacher

    Ms. Stephanie has been employed at CLC since August, 2021. She has her Associate of Art in Business and has taken education classes. She completed her CDA in Infant and Toddler Development in early 2024 and began working on her Bachelors degree in the Fall of 2024.

  • Ms. Holly has been working at CLC since September 2023. She graduated in May 2025 with her Bachelors in Criminal Justice. Ms. Holly is very artistic and has created a mural in the Toddler class. She is curently a Co-Lead teacher in our Little Learners Classroom.

  • Ms. Mari joined CLC in August 2026. She is currently an assistant teacher in our Early Learners classroom.

Early Preschool & Preschool

  • Lead Early Preschool Teacher

    Ms. Lauren has worked at CLC since February of 2023. Previously, she worked as a paraeducator and Head Start Teacher. In 2018, she received her Early Childhood Unified Degree from Fort Hays State University. Lauren is very patient and demonstrates this outside of CLC by also working a part time job with adults who have special needs.

    In addition to working with our PreK students, Lauren has taken over our Teacher Recognition Committee where she plans ways to celebrate teachers birthdays, anniversaries and accomplishments!

  • Assistant Teacher

    Victoria became connected to CLC when her brother was enrolled. She began working at the school in August of 2025, a few months after she graduated high school. She has primarily worked with our 1 - 3 year olds.

  • Preschool Teacher

    Mr. Logan has been employed at CLC since November, 2019. He started at CLC as our cook, but moved into a teaching position in the Spring of 2022. He completed his CDA in Infant - Toddler Development in early 2024! Mr. Logan is currently the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom.

  • Preschool Teacher

    Ms. Carlee started working at CLC South in August of 2025 and transitioned to CLC in April of 2026. She started working with 0 - 3 year olds and moved into the Preschool classroom in May 2026.

  • Assistant Teacher

    Graciana started working at CLC in October, 2025. She took on a temporary position as the kitchen assistant but moved to a teaching position with toddlers when it became available. Since March 2026, she has worked with the 3-4 year olds in the PreK class.

Pre-K, KPrep 1 & KPrep 2(Kindergarten)

  • Lead PreK Teacher

    Ms. Amy has worked at CLC since July, 2021. During this time, she has worked with all classes at CLC. In May of 2023 she earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She became the Lead PreK teacher in the Fall of 2024.

  • Lead KPrep 1 Teacher

    Ms. Rachel has been employed at CLC since August, 2020. She has over 17 years of teaching experience in licensed childcare facilities. While she has taught infants - 5 year olds, the KPrep class is her niche. She earned her Child Development Associate in the area of Preschool Development in 2015. In addition, she has taken college level Early Childhood courses from Highland Community College. She has a daughter who is in 4rd Grade!

  • Lead KPrep2/ Kindergarten Teacher

    Ms. Jessica has worked at Children’s Learning Center since August, 2020. She graduated from Emporia State University in 2004 with her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. For the past 14 years, she taught a private Kindergarten class. When we do not have Kindergarten enrollment, she runs our KPrep 2 curriculum. She lives in Topeka, KS with her husband and two sons.

Full Time Support Staff

  • Lead Float

    Ms. Christina has been employed at CLC since April, 2010. She has amazing interactions with children of all ages and can work with any age group. She loves to sing with the children and do art projects!

  • Therapy Dog

    PJ was born October, 2017. She joined CeCe’s family in January, 2018. She immediately started training to work as a Therapy Dog in the preschool programs. She completed her Therapy Dog Training Classes in 2019 right before she had a litter of ten puppies! She is a hypoallergenic Golden Doodle who brings a smile to everyone’s day. Beginning in October 2026, PJ will move to a part time position at CLC for only half of the week as she prepares for her retirement years. She may also help to train her replacement soon!

  • Lead Preschool Teacher

    Deanna started working at CLC in December, 2025. She has previous experience working with children ages 2-5. She also has previous experience as a site director. She attends FHSU, majoring in social work with a minor in psychology and a certificate of leadership. Ms. Deanna is working as support staff in various classrooms. Beginning in August 2026, she took on the part-time role as our Curriculum and Behavior Specialist but will still continue to work in classrooms for the remainder of each week. In 2026, she won the Best of Lawrence Award for “Best Preschool Teacher”!

Part Time Support Staff

  • Part Time Aide

    Aari has been employed at CLC since August 2024. She has helped with various cleaning tasks and provides support in various classes when she is out of school.

  • Part Time Float

    Ms. Katie started volunteering at CLC in the temporary school age program during 2020. When the program ended in March 2021, she was hired as a part time aide. Ms. Katie graduated from Eudora HS in May, 2025. She accepted a scholarship from JCCC where she plays softball.

  • Assistant Teacher

    Hannah started working at CLC in 2025. She has her Bachelor’s from K-State in psychology and is currently earning her Master’s degree from KU. While she has experience working with all ages, her favorite age to work with is the infants.

  • K-Prep Teacher

    Taylor started working at CLC in September of 2025. She has previous experience working with Preschool age students. She is a student at KU in studying Early Childhood Unified.

Kitchen

  • Cook

    Mr. Rick started working at CLC in January, 2026. He has previous experience working working as cook in public schools.

  • Kitchen Assistant

    AJ has been working at CLC since November 2025.
